Sulto is most definitely one to watch. In a matter of just a few years the young Bruno has rocketed up through the ranks of the Spain’s producing talents, going from bedroom player to hitting the charts several times. But he’s got a problem. He hasn’t held down a job for more than a matter of weeks, infact nothing can motivate this lazy kid, except House. “The only thing which gets me out of bed each morning” explains. Music has always been a major interest in Bruno’s life.
In July, 2009 he started his own label, and he called it Harkee Records. Why Harkee Records? Harkee comes from the old english, and it means 'listen to me'. And Sulto's music is worth a listen. I don't need to explain why. His music is all the proof needed – and if you’ve listened to it you’ll know that already.

What artists have been exciting you the most recently? And how would you rate 2009 as a year in general, musically?
It has been a good year, especially for artists like Pablo Decoder, Asino, Afrojack.. Everyone should check some big releases like Asino's Boekatsjakka, Decoder's Shave it Off, and lots of tracks by Afrojack.
I think this year has been good for me as well.

How much do you think you have changed (both musically and as a person) since the release of your debut EP?
Well, I used to use too many loops (two or three on each track), I seldom use them now.. and if I use them, I edit them until they don't sound like loops. Also, when this year started I produced using Sony Acid, now I use Ableton.
As a person.. well, I dont know.

We've heard you're a great fan of IDM, is that true?
Yes, in fact when I started producing I made IDM. But It only lasted 2 or 3 months. There are great artists like Nathan Fake, 7oi, Vincent Oliver, Squarepusher, Brothomstates.. Vincent and Jói (7oi) are great guys as well.

Most underrated producer?
Dylan Rhymes, Gregor Salto, Sebastien Leger, Nathan Fake, Kaysh.

Best tracks of 2009?
Tiga's Mind Dimension, LTWB (Leave the World Behind), etc.

Best upcoming producers?
Klabbe, Pablo Vegas, Marzek and Chris Lago.

What do the next 12 months hold for Sulto?
Producing, gigs, producing, promoting, studying.

Top gadget for 2009?
I've got this amazing pineapple slicer in my kitchen. It cores the fruit, cuts off the skin and slices it all in one go!

Any goals for 2010?
Get rid of my 'dark' sound!!
